The most important results of the implementation of the project:

- To protect animal, poultry and fish resources from epidemic, infectious, common and incoming diseases, raise the productivity of animals, poultry, fish from meat, dairy, meat products and their offal, white meat, eggs, and fish, and reduce the percentage of sick waste, mortality, and the resulting positive impact on the national economy.

- Protecting livestock, poultry and fish from epidemic and infectious diseases and what may arise on the map of animal, poultry and fish diseases as a result of climate changes that the world is going through recently.

- Protecting the Egyptian citizen from the seriousness of common diseases that affect public health and its negative impact on the national economy.

- Protecting the Egyptian product from foods of animal, poultry and fish origin prepared for export and supporting its competitiveness in global markets through validity reports issued by specialized institutes of the institute and internationally approved

- To protect the Egyptian consumer and the local animal wealth from the dangerous diseases that may be transmitted to humans and animals from food of animal origin imported from abroad.

- Reducing animal mortality and raising the productive efficiency of animals, poultry, and fish

Reducing losses resulting from environmental pollution and the consequent decrease in animal productivity and the presence of harmful residues in animals, poultry, fish and their products, which negatively affects public health

Second: The Institute's achievements in the field of diagnosis: -

The researchers and doctors carried out (1553) official missions at the local and internal levels to veterinary quarries, research stations, animal and poultry farms and fish throughout the republic and to laboratories of food of animal origin in the ports (Alexandria - Damietta - Port Said) where the diagnostic samples were taken to examine them and send the results of the examination And the necessary recommendations to the competent authorities.

The various departments of the institute and its research and diagnostic units examined the number of (231626) samples, including (31009) a sovereign sample (an unpaid examination) and a number (200617) a sample of a special nature (a symbolic fee examination) where the necessary checks were made on them in the relevant departments of the institute

· A number (9119) samples of research and scientific theses were also examined.

The institute’s doctors and sub-laboratories in the governorates and the National Veterinary Laboratory for poultry production and its sub-laboratories in the governorates have numbered (1553) periodic and emergency missions to debate field problems and take the necessary samples, as well as active survey and surveillance for bird flu.
